How the daily challenges work
A new set of puzzles goes live every day at midnight UTC, and everyone in the world gets the same ones — so you can compare scores with friends, classmates or colleagues without spoilers from a different puzzle.
- World Order: five countries and one measure — population, land area or density. Rank them biggest first in three tries; correct slots lock in after each try.
- Daily Country: name the mystery country in six guesses. Every wrong guess tells you how far away the answer is and in which direction, so each miss narrows the map.
- Daily Flag: the flag starts pixelated and gets clearer with each wrong guess. You have five guesses.
- Daily Capital: guess the capital city in five tries; each guess reveals another letter of the answer.
- Daily Map: find today's place on the map.
Solving today's puzzles keeps your streak alive. Past puzzles in the archive are there for practice and never affect your streak, so you can catch up on days you missed without any pressure.
How to play

The world in this puzzle
Answers come from the site's 197-country dataset. Africa has the most countries (54), followed by Asia (48) and Europe (46), so on any given day a mystery country is most likely to be in one of those three.
