Information we collect

  • Game play. Scores, streaks and progress are stored in your browser. If you create an optional account, your email address, display name and saved scores are stored with our database provider so you can sync them across devices.
  • Classroom mode. Teachers can host a live quiz; players join with a room code and a nickname. We do not ask students for real names, emails or other personal details.
  • Messages and newsletter. If you use the contact form or join the newsletter, we keep your name, email and message only as long as needed to reply or to send the newsletter. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link.
  • Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand which quizzes are played, which pages are visited, the referring site, device type and approximate region. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies.

Visit logging

To monitor site activity, we log basic, non-personal information about each page visit, including the page URL, the referring website, your approximate location (city/region/country derived from your IP address), and your browser's user-agent string. Your IP address is used only for geolocation and is not stored alongside any personal identifier. This data is sent to a private notification service operated by the site owner and is not shared with advertisers or third-party analytics providers. Automated bots are filtered out and not logged.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

We show ads served by Google AdSense around (never inside) the games. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. The games are suitable for students, and classroom mode is designed so children never need to give personal information. Accounts are intended for users 13 and older (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the California CCPA/CPRA) you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To make a request, including deleting your account, use the contact page.

Security and retention

Data is sent over HTTPS and stored with reputable providers. We keep account data until you delete your account, and contact messages for up to 12 months.
