Guessing a country from clues is a different skill from reciting a list. You are combining facts โ capital, currency, region โ until only one answer fits.
Play it: Guess the Country. Each round gives you a capital city, a currency and a continent, and four options.
Other guessing formats to try
From the outline. Country Silhouette strips away names, borders and colour. Chile, Italy and Norway are giveaways; Zambia and Kyrgyzstan are not.
From the flag. Flag to Country, and once that is easy, Lookalike Flags for Chad versus Romania and Indonesia versus Monaco.
From the position. Click the Country on the Map reverses it โ you get the name and have to find the place.
How to guess well
Use the currency clue first: it often names the country outright or narrows it to a small group. Then use the continent to cut the options in half. Capital cities are the strongest clue of all once you have drilled Capital to Country.
A new country, flag and capital appear every day in the Daily Challenge if you want one round rather than a whole session.
