Which countries count as Latin America?

This quiz uses the common definition: the countries of the Americas where Spanish, Portuguese or French is the main language. That gives 20 sovereign countries:

North and Central America: Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama
Caribbean: Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Haiti
South America: Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay

Belize, Guyana and Suriname are in the region but are English- or Dutch-speaking, so they are left out. Puerto Rico and French Guiana are territories, not countries.

How to play

Every country in the list is asked once, in random order. The map opens on the Americas with the rest of the world greyed out. A miss highlights the answer; the end screen lists what to practise.

Tips

Brazil is half the continent. Place it first — it borders every South American country except Chile and Ecuador.
The two landlocked ones: Bolivia and Paraguay.
Hispaniola is shared — Haiti on the west, the Dominican Republic on the east.
Ecuador is on the equator between Colombia and Peru.
